HP Officejet 250 Mobile Printers – First Time Printer Setup

This report is for HP OJ 250, 250c, 252, 252c, and 258 Mobile All-in-One printers.

To set up a printer for the Initially, eliminate the printer and all packing materials from the box, introduce the battery, associate the power cable, set control panel choices, load paper, and later install the ink cartridges. After your printer is set up, download and install the newest print driver.

Step 1: Eliminate the printer from the box

The substance might differ by country/region. See the packaging for a list of things transmitted in the box.

Eliminate the printer from the box and all strip stickers, eliminate all packing materials from your printer, and then install the battery.

  1. Eliminate the printer from the carton.
  2. Eliminate all strip and packing materials from the outside of the printer.

      3. Rear the top cover, eliminate the strip, and then eliminate the film from the printer control panel.

      4. Open the ink cartridge access door, and then eliminate all strips.

      5.Eliminate all the tape and packing materials, and then seal the ink cartridge door.

     6.Recycle the stuffing materials.

Step 2: Insert the battery

Turn on your printer model and the country/region it was a switch in, it may own come with a free lithium-ion rechargeable battery. If your printer did not appear with a battery or you bought one individually, skip to the next step to combine the power cord.

NOTE: To buy a battery for your printer, visit the HP Store, and explore for your printer model.

       1.Start the battery cover lock to the right, and then remove the battery cover toward you to eliminate it.

       2.   Unwrap the battery.

       3.Slide the battery into its hole, and then touch the left side of the battery to it snaps into position.

       4.Push the battery cover into its slot, and then ensure the left side of the cover snaps into the spot.

  Step 3: Connect the power cord and set your choice

Plug the printer into an electrical socket, switch on your printer, and then set your choices.

NOTE: Do not connect a USB cable at this moment. The connection to the PC is installed during software installation.

       1.Connect the power cord to the back of the printer, then plug the other edge of the power cord into an electrical socket.

       2.Switch on your printer.

       3.Touch the top of the control panel to see the control panel at an angle.

       4.On your printer control panel, touch the arrow buttons to choose your favored language and country/region and then click Confirm.

Step 4: Load paper

Load the plain U.S. letter or A4 paper in the input plate.

  1. Open the top cover, and then pull up the input plate extender.
  2. Slide-out the paper-width leads as far as possible.

     3.Load 50 sheets of plain paper or less into the paper plate, and then slide in the paper-width leads until they rest upon the sides of the paper.

Step 5: Install the ink cartridges

Install your HP ink cartridges that are transferred in the carton with your printer.

      1. Unbox your ink cartridge access door.

      2. Wait till the carriage is quiet and silent before you continue.

      3.Eliminate the strip on the ink cartridges. Be alert to only press the black plastic on the ink cartridge.

      4..Eliminating the plastic tape from the ink cartridge.

CAUTION: Do not press the copper-colored contacts or the ink outlets. Do not replace the protecting strip on the communication. Managing these parts can result in clogs, ink failure, and bad electrical connections. 

       5.Enter the ink cartridge into its slot, and then touch the ink cartridge until it locks into place.

NOTE:        Introduce the color ink cartridge on the left and the black ink cartridge on the right.

       6.Close your ink cartridge access door.

       7.After introducing the ink cartridges, the printer automatically prints an arrangement page. Arranging the ink cartridges is needed to obtain the best print quality.

If the printer did not automatically arrange the ink cartridges, arrange the ink cartridges of the printer control panel:

  • From the desktop on the printer control panel, swipe down to open the Dashboard, and then press the Setup icon.
  • Swipe up on the show, press Printer Maintenance, press arrange Printer, and then press Proceed.

          An arrangement page prints.

Your HP printer hardware is now set up and you can establish the printing software. Do not try to connect the printer to a PC until guided to make so in the printing software.

Step 6: Install the printer software 

Download the newest version of the printing software from 123 hp OJ250.
